3 tbsp. melted and cooled butter
4 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp. maple syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. quick cooking oats, such as Quaker oats
1/2 tbsp. baking soda
1 cup raw sugar (or other coarse sugar)
1 1/2 c. flour
2 bananas (about 3/4 cup)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Cream together the cream cheese and sugar; beat until light and fluffy. Add butter, egg, banana and oatmeal. Mix well.
Add dry ingredients, mix well and drop by the teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 12-15 minutes or until edges turn lightly brown. Cool on wire rack. Store in a closed container.
